ISU FLL

Wow. This last Saturday I was a volunteer judge at ISU's First Lego League contest.

Energy. That was the theme of the event.

Energy. That was the crowd.

Check out the video to get a small taste of what it was like:

It was pure chaos. But it was fine tuned chaos. The organization was perfect. Every minute was accounted for. There were assistants for the judges that were critical for our being able to get through everyone. The event was filled with great people who were 100% there for the kids.

I was able to announce some of the winners of the event. That was the biggest, most energetic crowd I ever got to address. And while announcing I even had someone by my side to remind me that the first people on the list were "Honorable Mentions" instead of "1st Place". That was fine-tuned (and totally necessary).

Over 70 teams. Those kids were all amazing.
